Our first time to meet in person was at Krystal's Burgers around 8 in the evening. We ended up staying there till almost midnight. Our first actual date was at Addison Café. He still has the receipt for the meal. From there we hung out a lot, almost every day or so.

Then I thought we were moving to fast so I told him I just wanted to be just friends. Well, it took a trip to the Frio River for me to realize I wanted to be more than friends with him. He accepted my challenge and we have been inseparable ever since.

David finally popped the question on September 16th. We were getting ready for church. He was sitting on the edge of the bed waiting for me to finish up. I walked in and said, are you ready? He said, how would you like to wear something new to church. Ok, I’m thinking, why is he asking me this. Does he not like what I have on? Is my shirt dirty? He then went to his sock drawer and came back and got on his knee and asked me to marry him. I of course cried, and said yes. It was a moment we will never forget.
